Learn to Play Day

We are going to be participating in this year's Learn to Play Day.  For more information keep checking out our site.

More dates for the Langcliffe Guitar Sessions:

We've arranged further dates for the popular monthly guitar sessions in Langcliffe Village Institute. The sessions are on the 2nd Friday of the month. 

So far dates for 2012 are:

• February - 10th   see below for ideas of some new songs for this session   
• March - 9th
• April - 13th
• May - 11th
• June - 8th

As the guitar sessions have been successful we are considering starting sessions for a wider range of musicians. So if you play an instrument and would like to play with other people in a relaxed environment please get in touch either by emailing sales@settlemusic.co.uk, by phone 01729 815838 or by calling into the shop at Linton Court, Duke Street, Settle.

Stop Press.......To run alongside the National Learn To Play Day on 31st March we are  setting up a Ukulele workshop followed by an evening gig with the Anything Goes Orchestra.

It's the centenary of Woody Gutherie's birth this year and so we thought we'd put on an event. The actual day is in July so we've a little time. Anyone interested in being involved?
